VHRR Historic Sandown 2018

Join the GGOCC to support the Victorian Historic Racing Register (VHRR) at Sandown Raceway. All the excitement of racing from a bygone era returns to Sandown again when the thunderous 5000s, nimble Formula Fords and exciting Touring cars take to the track at this year's event on November 9-11. Unofficial practice will take place on Friday, November 9 and it’s free admission to the public for a taste of the action to follow over the weekend. Weekend prices: $35 (Saturday), $45 (Sunday), $70 (Saturday & Sunday). Children under 15 free if accompanied by an adult. More details to come soon.   https://vhrr.com/wp/sandown/

BBQ Fundraiser – Sandown

IT'S FUNDRAISING TIME!!!!!! Yes its that time of year again where we get up really early and drive to Sandown and lend a hand to the club. It's time to roll up those sleeves and cook all those sausages and eggs and bacon for all the hungry competitors at the Super Sprint. We have never struggled to get people involved in this very important task. We are very proud to see so many truly support the GGOCC with a bit of elbow grease!. Come help the club raise some badly need funds. And maybe eat a few snags while your at it! Members will again have the opportunity to park their cars on the apron behind the shed on display, and well you never know ...

Sandown Come and Try & Driver Training Day

You have had the opportunity to cruise around the Sandown Raceway before, well this Queens Birthday, it’s going to be a little more, EXCITING! This year the FFCC have given the GGOCC financial members the very real opportunity to take part in the track day. This time, when you fill in the attached form (Entry form), and pay the entry cost, you too can cut a few laps like a racer!! There is tuition available, AT NO CHARGE! on the day and as always, heaps of club members around for support, encouragement and guidance. Sandown – Melbourne Cup BBQ Fundraiser

This Melbourne Cup Day the GGOCC will be hosting our final fundraising event for 2017! The GGOCC has again been invited to run the BBQ/Kiosk to support round 6 of the Victorian Super Sprint Championship hosted by our friends at the Ford Four Car Club. Funds raised by this event go straight to helping the GGOCC put on our own amazing events and you get to watch some state level action on track too! Gates open at 7am Tuesday 7th November, we need as many hands as possible to make light work of a busy day! Contact Craig Dutton, Joel/Leonie Bailey to advise us of your support. Entry is free!
