It’s that time of year again! After another fantastic year of the GGOCC it’s time to let our mullets fly and the disco balls glimmer. After the brilliant effort from all our members in our cruises, show and shines, general gatherings and getting your hands dirty fundraising it’s time for the GGOCC to show our appreciation in a well structured, coordinated, well behaved corporate like event.

NOT THIS TIME!!

To mark our 3rd Annual General Meeting, we are going to put on a bit of a bash!! A night to award and celebrate the winners and the year past – and a night to celebrate the era of the Gemini long past – the 70’s and 80’s… Yes this year we have a theme – 70’s and 80’s fancy dress and of all things Gemini! It will be really ACE!!

Brill cream that mullet and if you aren’t folically advantaged – put on the ‘fro wig!

If your wardrobe is lucky enough drag that bell bottomed safari suit and the 2 inch wide leather belt out of moth balls and get it cleaned!! Maybe even raid the parents closet! We expect to hear complaints from the local op-shops and fancy dress parlours!!

One Day Cricket in coloured cloths, a boat with a funny keel, really short tennis shorts!, an oil crisis (why we have a Gemini) and don’t forget Olivia Newton John and that Lycra body suit!!!!!!!!! Take a ‘trip’ back in time for a fancy dress night like nothing else!!

Grab your partner, grab someone else’s!!, and be at the best party (with some boring stuff chucked in), that the club will have all year!! Giant wigs, giant shoes!! who knows what you will see!!

Look out for your invitation in your membership renewal pack, send the RSVP back asap so we know who’s coming!! and for a pleasant surprise……..

Note: The cost per ticket has nearly halved this year! The clubs way of giving back to our members is by providing the same great food and service at a well earned discounted price! So there is no excuse for anyone to miss out on the best night of the year!!
