Fire Relief Donation Cruise. \nWe will be meeting ATL at BP Officer (outbound) at 8.45am ready to depart at 9.30am. Driving to the Traralgon Relief Centre. Each car is asked to bring a bag of food or toiletries for the fire relief or a gift voucher from a major supermarket or fuel card. After the brilliant effort from all our members in our cruises\, show and shines\, general gatherings and getting your hands dirty fundraising it’s time for the GGOCC to show our appreciation in a well structured\, coordinated\, well behaved corporate like event. \n  \nNOT THIS TIME!! \nTo mark our 3rd Annual General Meeting\, we are going to put on a bit of a bash!! A night to award and celebrate the winners and the year past – and a night to celebrate the era of the Gemini long past – the 70’s and 80’s… Yes this year we have a theme – 70’s and 80’s fancy dress and of all things Gemini! It will be really ACE!! \nBrill cream that mullet and if you aren’t folically advantaged – put on the ‘fro wig! \nIf your wardrobe is lucky enough drag that bell bottomed safari suit and the 2 inch wide leather belt out of moth balls and get it cleaned!! Maybe even raid the parents closet! We expect to hear complaints from the local op-shops and fancy dress parlours!! \nOne Day Cricket in coloured cloths\, a boat with a funny keel\, really short tennis shorts!\, an oil crisis (why we have a Gemini) and don’t forget Olivia Newton John and that Lycra body suit!!!!!!!!! Take a ‘trip’ back in time for a fancy dress night like nothing else!! \nGrab your partner\, grab someone else’s!!\, and be at the best party (with some boring stuff chucked in)\, that the club will have all year!! Giant wigs\, giant shoes!! who knows what you will see!! \nLook out for your invitation in your membership renewal pack\, send the RSVP back asap so we know who’s coming!! and for a pleasant surprise…….. \nNote: The cost per ticket has nearly halved this year! The clubs way of giving back to our members is by providing the same great food and service at a well earned discounted price! This time\, when you fill in the attached form (Entry form)\, and pay the entry cost\, you too can cut a few laps like a racer!! \nThere is tuition available\, AT NO CHARGE! on the day and as always\, heaps of club members around for support\, encouragement and guidance.  \nIf you have ever wanted to just ‘have a go’ and see what it’s like\, or want to fulfil that life-long dream of driving your car around a race track – here is your very real opportunity! No fancy race licence required\, no expensive race car and trailer. Just you\, your car\, and the track! \n \nRemember\, not everyone can say they put themselves and their car to the test around a race track…… You will never forget it\, not ever!! \nNOTE: Entry payment and entry form are required to be submitted before the day of the event. There is a minimal cost of a day track licence that will need to be paid on the day\, this covers insurances for the track. Your car will need to conform to Schedule A and Schedule B of the current CAMS Manual of Motorsport. DESCRIPTION:IT’S FUNDRAISING TIME!!!!!! \nYes its that time of year again where we get up really early and drive to Sandown and lend a hand to the club. It’s time to roll up those sleeves and cook all those sausages and eggs and bacon for all the hungry competitors at the Super Sprint. \nWe have never struggled to get people involved in this very important task. We are very proud to see so many truly support the GGOCC with a bit of elbow grease!. Come help the club raise some badly need funds. And maybe eat a few snags while your at it! \nMembers will again have the opportunity to park their cars on the apron behind the shed on display\, and well you never know your luck beyond that. \nAlso remember that this is one of the opportunities for the Club Permit people to bring their pride and joy out and tick off one of those mandatory appearances!! DESCRIPTION:Bunnings Pakenham East will be holding its Spring Launch on Saturday the 16th of September and have invited the Gippsland Gemini Owners Car Club to run the BBQ and have a Gemini Car Show in the Car Park. \nCome down for this Spring Launch event! Gippsland Gemini Owners Car Club will be displaying their cars out the front while the fun will continue out the back. Suppliers will be demonstrating their products and many fun activities for the kids such as ride on electric animals\, face painting\, jumping castle\, hands on activities and more!! \nWe would like to see as many Gemini’s there as possible. All Gemini enthusiasts\, both club members and non club members are are welcome. Bring down your Gem. \nWe will need volunteers to help out with 2 hour shifts. If you can help out with a shift please let Tim Gard or Craig Dutton know.  \nLet’s hope we get some good weather and a big turn up of Gemini’s.\nSee you all there.
